Cats are natural hunters. Most cats will chase anything small instinctively. The smell of a mouse (or bird) is very stimulating and chasing a live animal is by some means more thrilling than chasing a toy to them. They have great perseverance in hunting. 4 rats, hamster, gerbil, 4 more rats, toy mouse, and rats again.
Call it like it is at least. Cats and rodents, mostly rats. I love seeing these and I love seeing the rats, but way too many people think rats are gross and mice aren’t because they’re just misinformed. If they knew these awesome pictures were mostly rats it might change some opinions.
